Holy Healing, Tree-man!

For the first time in my WoW career, I just main healed two instances. (Yes, the group was made well aware of my inexperience going in.)
We did Azjol-Nerub and Old Kingdom back to back. The only (combat related) deaths involved a wipe when we pulled two (maybe 3) packs in Old Kingdom. I’m sure it helped that the two pallies were 77 and 80 respectively. The warlock and I were 72, and the Rogue somewhere in between.
The other death occurred when our warlock managed to die on the pit jump in AN.
I completely forgot about Wild Growth and Tranquility, and had to fumble to find the right Abolish Poison and Remove Curse keys. (I was using my normal spells, and not the mouseover-macroed spells and wondering why the poison wasn’t cleansing. Because you’re casting it repeatedly on yourself, dumbass.)
I grabbed i think 3 or 4 upgrades, mostly cloth, but hey, if you’re not getting hit, it’s the caster stats that matter. I will have to link that later since I’ve already logged out.
So. I was a little panicky, but I think it went okay, and got a “good job” from one of the other guys.
Healing is just something I haven’t had the guts for before. In BC I was doing all right tanking with the druid. I wasn’t the greatest tank by any stretch, but I didn’t suck, and successfully offtanked Kara several times. Having DPS classes as my main, I was/am interested in trying something different. I don’t think that I’ll be switching to the healer as my main anytime soon, but it’s always nice to have options available to you to fill out a group.
Bedtime. It’s supposed to rain tomorrow (I guess they’re terming it “showers”) and then be clear on Saturday. I’m really hoping the weather pushes over to the weekend, so I can get a good hard storm to sleep into.
