hawkman

So, I’ve gone from Sailor Moon to Hawkman. Awesome.

I will continue hiding my helm graphic, thank you very much.

Ran a 10 man TOC last night and got Helm of the Snowy Grotto.  Also got enough emblems to pick up Heartmender Ring.

Tim is probably bettered geared than Cali at this point. Caliban has about 150 Triumph badges, but I’ve never gotten a Trophy to spend with them. Yeah, I should probably just suck it up and get the 232 level stuff, but it just seems a waste of badges to me. I may have to drag Caliban on a Pug where he at least has a chance of getting a Trophy.

Oh well.

I do have one comfort in all of this. No matter how bad Tim’s helms look, it will never be as bad as paladin Tier 5.
gnomeadin
Purple Cylon anyone?
Hope y’all had a happy Turkey Day.

Gobble.

cali_pilgrimTo those who follow my dusty little corner of the internet, apologies for not posting sooner, but it’s been a rather busy term at school.

Not a ton on the game front to report. Has Aggro is taking a hiatus until 3.3 comes out. This kind of corresponds with my own personal hiatus as well, until after finals.

So, I got one last weekend of raiding in.

Tim got some nice new gear, I was able to get a Trophy of the Crusade and got his first T9 Piece: Malfurion’s Spaulders of Triumph. I also got the mats and made him a set of Royal Moonshroud Bracers. So, his gear is coming along.

Cali doesn’t have a single piece of T9 yet. I have enough badges for one or two, but I don’ thave the DKP to get the Trophy’s. And now that we’re not raiding (and school) I may not get a chance.

Well, Pilgrim…

Seriously, this holiday is just screaming for John Wayne quotes.

Cali is nearly done. I need an Orc Rogue, to go kill Ikiss, and to do the 40 turkeys thing. I keep getting to high 20’s and then running out/having someone else in the same area. I may get up early and do them overnight.

This holiday is fantastic for leveling cooking. I’m half inclined to write up a guide on it, but I think it’s pretty obvious for anyone with half a brain.  Start with the 5/5 stuffing quest in Stormwind/Undercity and bake your way to 300.

Holiday Blues

I could go a big soapbox about the state of my guild and stuff, but I’ll just say this: the Holidays are a busy time, with family, friends and finals. WoW will be waiting when you come back. Enjoy the season.

Happy Turkey Day!
