Well, hello again. To whoever is/was/is no longer reading this.

Took a two week vacation in the middle of July, which was great. No computer, no internet, didn’t even check my e-mail. It was bliss.

When I came back, I has zero interest in raiding. Still do, really.

We got Yogg down, which was fun. And poking at Trial of the Crusader was fun. But beating our head on Iron Council Hard mode … I was ready to be done after the first two attempts. And we’re going to be using raid lockouts to get some more attempts in on the harder modes.

We did make some progress, but it was just … frustrating. Even healing with Tim on Sunday wasn’t as fun as usual. I enjoyed the “hanging out” on that raid, and we blew through the normal content in record time. But when we got to Vezex, I was ready to call it quits.

I think it’s probably a frustration factor. I play the game for fun, so when we’re beating our heads on something that I don’ t think we’re going to get done in the time allotted, I’d rather move on to something I know we can accomplish, and it frustrates me when we don’t.

I had more fun this weekend running heroics, even if just for badges and rep, than I did raiding.

With school starting next week, and me taking 3 classes plus working full time, I think my interest is probably going to wane even further. It doesn’t help that one of my classes is now an evening class, and in the middle of Thursday raid night.

Maybe I’m burnt out, maybe I’m bored. I dunno. My interest has definately dropped, however. I think I’m going to deliberatly spend this weekend not playing, other than scheduled raids, and see what happens.

As for the future of this blog … well, I haven’t missed it. I don’t think I’m necessarily contributing anything to the greater pool of gnome or druid information on the ‘net, and after 6 months I still haven’t gotten around to making myself a theme. *shrug*

We’ll see what happens.
