I am doing my best to not be frustrated.
My gnomelock just hit 75 this morning, thanks to daily quests and finishing up the Coldarra in Borean Tundra. (Do your dailies, they do add up!)
However, a large portion of my guild mates have their mains at, or very close, to 80. My guild has stated that we won’t be “officially” raiding until probably January. And in the past they have proven they know life happens, and are okay with folks being absent because of work/school/life/etc.
But even tho folks haven’t said anything … there’s this invisible pressure of “why aren’t you 80 yet?” Can’t do heroics. Can’t do Naxx (and the drama that’s causing is another post all together, oy.) Probably can’t get an equivalent-level guild group together to do instances with.
I am not regretting taking my time working through these lovely, awesome zones. I am not putting WoW ahead of school, since we’re in the last two weeks before finals.
But if I keep getting annoyed at the list of 20+ guildies at 80 (on what has traditionally been a non-raid night…) then I may just not log onto my main toons for more than dailies until school is over.
When everytime I log on theres this sense of how behind I am in level and gear and tradeskills that I have to put aside to have fun…
Okay, so, emo bullshit aside:
Meh, that’s enough for now ^_^
